Job Description: Incharge for assisting in the development and maintenance of relevant database and information requirements of the project and for providing integrated data support service to the research team, and other relevant parties Key Responsibilities Collection of relevant data for allocated recommendations research projects Manipulation of data Provision of input and quantitative analysis to relevant research team and submissions Perform reporting and record keeping and budget planning and monitoring Must have experience in writing Transact SQL to manipulate data Needs to have an understanding of how to normalize non-additive data down to one row for a given granularity Should understand how to bring together datasets which do not share a common key Should have experience becoming familiar with new data sets, finding the weaknesses in the data, missing data, contradictory data and determining what sorts of questions the data can and cannot answer Should have strong base and significant exposure in ETL concepts. Should be able to read and design Entity Relationship Diagram. Should have an understanding of distributions, sampling, confidence intervals, boot strapping and other statistics concepts. Some statistics education will facilitate better collaboration with researchers Should be able to troubleshoot and fix poorly performing queries Hard Skills Transact SQL Manipulating Data Designing tables, ER Diagram Importing and exporting data from various sources Should have good understanding of transforming data if and when needed Good knowledge on table joins and subqueries Should have good knowledge of if and while loops Writing various types of queries (like select, insert, update, delete queries) Building interfaces using forms Building reports Building effective Stored Procedures Expert in temporary tables, variables and parameterized stored procedures Interested candidates can mail ur CV`s to: shruthi@ikyaglobal.com More IT jobs at IITJobs
