ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: o Designs, implements, and supports backup and recovery procedures for all database systems. o Implements daily operational procedures and alerts to ensure database platforms are performing efficiently. o Perform regular diagnostic testing against all production databases and tune as required. o Experience with MS SQL Database Administration o Demonstrated strong organizational skills. o Some Project management experience. o Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the DBA field. o Some programming experience preferred o Some Oracle experience preferred o Hands-on technical experience. Roll-up your sleeves type of individual. o Strong problem solving, technical, and analytical skills. o Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. o Broad technical knowledge. o Excellent understanding of data systems and models.
