At Wipro Technologies the Technical Lead would be responsible for: - Understanding the work content, Estimation, scheduling and task allocation. - Review of project activities on day to day basis. - Interaction with the Team Leader on project queries. - Meeting the estimation and schedules. - Interaction with Client for delivery activities. - Over all Quality of work delivered. - Helping the Team Leader in checking Peers work. - Leading a team of up to 8 to 10 Engineers. - Getting project related clarifications from customer. - Organize project related training to the team members. - Providing Project status updates to Project Manager. - Leading offshore team on project planning, monitoring and delivery. Wipro Technologies is looking for Java Technical leads who should have an excellent track record and hands on experience with Java/J2EE and associated technologies. The candidate should have executed and led technically atleast 2-3 Java/J2EE based projects and managed a team of minimum 10-15 developers. He/She should be able to guide the team and interface the client independently and drive the deliverables successfully; He/She Should be well conversant with the OOAD design and UML.
