| "2 years experience in data/routing networking protocol test development . The most important protocols for us are IP routing protocols (BGP4, OSPF, IS-IS, RIP etc), MPLS Signalling protocols (RSVP, LDP), IP Application Layer protocols (like http, ftp, smtp etc), Security (IPsec, SSL/TLS), VOIP (SIP, H.323) etc. Protocol development is typically in C with test scripts written in Tcl/Tk. The individuals would have a track record of delivering protocol code into production quality, shipping systems like switches/routers, standalone software applications or test equipment. The individuals would have a track record of working with a remote team. We'd be looking for good written and verbal communication skills.
