Designation Regional Operations Manager (South) Job Description Reporting to the Operations Head, the Regional Operations Manager would be responsible for all aspects of operation activities for a particular region. Key Responsibilities: Managing operations activities including o pick-up and deliveries o Hub and line haul o Network expansion o Fleet management o Service effectiveness o Operations Cost Liaison with Vendors, airlines and statutory bodies Select, appoint, train, motivate and retain operation team Achieve service parameters Monitor and Improve operations efficiency o Route management o Increased productivity Design and implement standard and need based operating procedures Appraise subordinates Interface with key accounts on a periodical basis Provide inputs to Sr. Management by monitoring MIS Desired Profile Age: 28 - 35 Should have a good understanding of cargo and courier products, with reference to best practices Proven track record in achieving performance targets Should have managed a team of at least 50 people Should possess good communication and inter-personal skills Should exhibit high level or customer orientation and sensitivity Capable of building and maintaining relationship with vendors and customers Experience 6 - 10 Years Industry Type Courier/ Transportation/Freight Functional Area ITES/BPO/KPO, Customer Service, Ops. Education UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization PG - Post Graduation Not Required In addition to the salary the candidates could draw 20% more than his salary in terms of incentives.
